December 2007
Highlights from the preceding month
Once again our Veteran's Day assembly was a beautiful class act. The students were well behaved and enjoyed our speakers and tribute to our country's veterans.
TURKEY TROT=SUCCESS!!
As a school the students were able to reach and surpass the goal of 10,000 cans!! Great job! In sixth grade Mrs. Boarman's class came in second with 691 cans and Mrs. Skarl's class came in first collecting 811 cans! Thanks to all who donated!!

Teaching and Learning:
ABSENT WORK: If your student is absent please make sure that you call the school to let us know. In sixth grade the teachers automatically gather missed work for any student that is absent. If you would like for the work to be picked up or sent home with another student you must let the office know that morning. We will have it ready by 3:00pm to go home. It is always a good idea to pick up work if your student is absent more than one day. That way they do not feel overwhelmed upon returning to school. Thank you. List of date and reminders:
Dec 7th - Warm and Wooly Breakfast ( 7:40am in Cafeteria)
Dec 20th - Winter Band Concert Grade 6-8 ( 7:30pm Old Gym)
Dec 21st - Winter Movie and Snack ( 1:30-3:00pm in Homeroom)
Dec 24th - Jan 6th - Winter Break! Enjoy! |
