CFMS 27th Annual Turkey Trot

and Canned Foods Drive

The Copley-Fairlawn Middle School will again host its' annual community service project done in conjunction with the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis.  For 26 years, CFMS has been reaching out to the community to help local families in need.  This year's food drive will run from October into November and will culminate in the annual Turkey Trot on Wednesday, November 16th.    The rain date is Monday, November 19th.

Parents wishing to watch the Turkey Trot should arrive at the school by 1:30PM for the 5th and 6th grade races and by 2:00PM for the 7th and 8th grade race.  Parents may sit in the football bleachers to the right of the press box to view the race.

All students are being asked to participate in this service
project, if possible, by bringing in some items listed below.  The Kiwanis rely on this service project to help brighten the holiday season for many local families.

OUR GOAL IS 10,000 ITEMS

When deciding what to contribute, please consider sending in non-crushable and non-breakable items.  Also, please do not separate packages of individual items, ie: hot chocolate, granola bars, fruit snacks, hot cereal, etc.  Please refrain front sending in Ramen Noodles.

Thank you!
